Poland generally experiences four distinct seasons – spring, summer, autumn, and winter. Spring begins in March, bringing sunny days, occasional rain, and light frost, with daytime temperatures ranging from 5°C to 15°C. Summer can be quite warm, with temperatures around 23–30°C. It starts in late May or June and lasts until the end of August. Autumn weather is often changeable – you’re likely to enjoy moderately warm temperatures from September to October, while November brings rain and cooler temperatures. In winter, the days become noticeably shorter. It is cold and cloudy, with frequent snowfalls and relatively low overall precipitation. The average temperature in January is around -4°C, but it can drop as low as -35°C.
